ive done a 3 inch body lift on mine, and i didnt have any problems getting the blocks under it. what brand did you go with you may have got a bad kit, i went with the PA and had no problems. as for jacking the truck up, are you using a hydraulic jack?

i used a wooden block right on the frame that holds the step bars.did you check the bolts on your passenger side and line it up in the right way ? cuz i took all my bolts out before i installed the pucks on my 3' bl ..i had the same problem and took the bolt out and redid my whole cab and got everything lined up ..but i started with my drivers side first ..not like it matters which side u start off with ..

Try shining a light through the holes to help you line it up?
