Fuel pump replacement ...

I just wonder how hard it is to replace the fuel pump for my B2300 '94 pickup. Should I just replace the pump or the whole assembly? Any good advice? Any cheap online store?

all I did was drop the 2 bolts that hold the pan around the gas tank, and the tank just came down, make sure yo are close to empty before doing this, as its much easier to list it back into place.

I took my bed off, but only because i had a full tank of gas. I got my bed off and put back on by myself. Its not hard.

i think i need to replace the pump on my 97 ranger, when i get below a half tank the truck definitely loses some power...does this sound like it makes sense? is there a how-to on the forums?

my sending unit was 120 and pump was 90. But watch the sending unit, the computers say that 4.0 sending units and 2.3 sending units are the same for 95-97 xlt and they are not. They gave me a 4.0 and said they was postive it would work. Well my fuel guage still only goes to half and i had to bend the return alil to get it to go all the way down in the tank.
