Gibson and K&N
The Brown truck brought me a K&n aircharger, and a Gibson extreme dual cat back system. The aircharger was very easy to put on, and the hardest part about the gibson was getting my stock exhaust system off. Just off of starting it and driving around the block a few times, I really like both. The exhaust has a very nice tone, and isnt very load which I like. My only worry is that, when I got back home after my drive, the exhaust was smoking, and smelled like it was burning. I checked, and nothing is rubbing anywhere, so I just came to the conclusion that it is just the new muffler and pipes breaking in. But any imput on that would be great.

looks ok to me but if you want, you can order some hangers from Summit Racing and hang that section higher so it secludes nicely above the frame rails. Maybe the local auto parts store would have some similar but I've never bought any locally. -Mike-

I got the same combo on my Ranger, an 05 ext cab 2wd - got the dual exhaust tips exiting out the passenger side behind the wheel. Like it so far, going for better mpg, not sure how much better I am getting yet. Also in SC. Done anything else? Looking at an electric fan, underdrive pulley, and the Bama tune, but still hesitating on tackling the pulley and fan removal!

Mine is not quite that low, I rotated the pipe a little to tuck it away a little better. If you get down and look at the truck while sitting on the pavement, you see it or from far away standing. Not an issue though.
Headed out to look at tonneau covers. LeBra makes one that folds up in 3 pieces. Looks nice and appears to be functional.

Thanks, though I wanted to hear it helped your mileage. I bought one today, not a fancy one, but it works well enough, I think. Got it on sale too, a LeBra. It also rolls up so you can put stuff in the bed - I imagine about all of them do that. I like the way it is attached without all the little snaps. Lot cheaper than the tri-fold I wanted, but think it will fit the purpose.
