You can run 3.73s. 4.10 or 4.56 would be optimal though

Like Kyle said, 4.10's or 4.56's would be optimal. I personally would go with 4.56's so you have some good acceleration. You're 2wd correct?

Are you going to do the install yourself or have a professional do it? A ballpark figure is $500 per axle installed which includes parts and labor but that could change by a few hundred depending on the brand of parts, used or new, and who does the install.

I would say around $500+ after everything. Another option for you would be to buy an Explorer 31 spline rear axle. You could find one that already has 4.10's and disc brakes.

i dont no? This is my first truck and i just got the 3 inch body lift and the flowmaster series 10 dual exhaust and were putting all that on this weekend. Then weve got the 33s also but i dont no what gears to run. Ill probably have my uncle whose a mechanic at the ford dealership do it if i bought the parts. Hed do it for a 12 pack so how much is it gonna cost?

gears would be proably any where from 200-300 depending on brand maybe a little more or less.

if your 2wd it would only be 300 because you would only need one set of gears and the instal kit.

Im planning to get 4.56 when i get 33s or 34s. They will give you more low end power increasing acceleration but will increase your RPMs at highway speeds giving you a slight decrease in hwy MPG.
