yup, that dreaded thingy. so for those of you that have had this replaced before in your truck by a garage, how much did it cost you, mine is a 99 so i am lookin to replace it before it goes. i'm just lookin for how much you guys paid to have it done, my garage wouldn't give me a price and i kinda wanna go to ford to get it done professionally even tho i will pay a bit more

 

its simple to change depending on how much the part runs our shop gets an hour labor and thats it but remember shops have to make money on the part also.

 

My Ford dealer wanted close to $500 for parts & labor. I decided to do it myself.
