Autotrader didnt help. I have found out that the 1999 model didnt have anything bigger than a 3.0 w/ 160hp. The only two engines that my truck could have is the 150hp 3.0 or the 160. Thats why Im asking. Unless I ran a dyno, there is no way for me to tell (that I know of)

A dyno is going to show you power at the rear tires, not the crank, so doing that isn't going to show you which motor you have.. but it will show you how pitiful it is

Thats what I figured. I just couldnt understand how a 4banger with smaller pistons could possibly be better all around. But then I looked at the torque and saw the PT at 167 and the ranger at 192. And not to mention the PT has an auto. Worthless!
