take the brake booster vacuum line off, and pour it in there. look into doing plugs after the seafoam as well.

Pour it in the brake booster. When I do it, I do it right before an oil change. I put a little in about a week before I change the oil then do the brake booster right before the oil change. Seems to work nicely.

I know the pictures are the 3.0 but it's in the exact same spot.

I'd also suggest a fuel filter change for the hell of it. I did the following and gained about 2mpg: fuel filter, sea foam, MAF cleaning, new plugs, oil change(always synthetic)

It is also a good idea to loosen the brake boost hose before turning the car on.

yup, it can be a b**** sometimes. Remember, the connector is plastic, don't pull too hard - you don't want to turn this into a repair project.

I usually pour a 1/3 of the can into a small tupperware container and have the vacuum from the booster hose suck up the sea-foam instead of pouring it in. Seems easier to me just keep your thumb over the hose when not in use or you may stall the truck.

The seafoam might foul them out from what I've heard.

Alright, so I seafoamed about 3000 miles ago with great results. This weekend I will be doing oil and spark plugs and want to seafoam again before I start.

Is it safe to run it through again so close to the last treatment?

you really do mean disconnect the vacuum hose and literally "pour it in the break booster" don't you? I can see that this would have the benefit of a "closed loop" system where you don't have to worry about putting your thumb over the hose after it sucks the seafoam out of a container.

but my concerns:

will this cause any damage to the brake booster bladder?
is there any residual seafoam left in the bladder to cause slow damage.

NOOOOOOO!

how would that get into the intake and to your valves? you are using the brake booster vacuum hose to get the seafoam down into the intake. pour into the hose that connects to the brake booster THAT HAS VACUUM, DO NOT pour into your brake booster.

that's what i'm saying... i have some serious concerns about pouring anything into the actual brake booster itself. i'm hoping 0RangerEdge2 will clarify his process... maybe this is a misunderstanding?
