Any ideas why my mileage sucks so bad?

In ozone-non-attainment areas of the country, especially on the east and west coasts, there are additional oxidizers added to our fuels in the winter. It's is not done probably where you are in the great, open, north -- but it is in many other places especially in the densely populated coasts.

Yes I read the post, but even you admit that this is DIFFERENT truck. EXACT same make, model, options, bla,bla,bla,bla, but it is not he old truck that you had. I would have to guess that the VIN is different, thus different truck, and different mileage. Simple as that
Heck YOU say the old owner never drove it. Are you sure the rings even took a good seat?
