Hello just joined the forum. I just bought this truck for 1000 bucks it runs well somtimes but seems to stall/sputter when i hit the gas or let it idle for 2-3 mins. i have read a lot of posts about this and did a few things the wierd part is i have no CEL coming on when i bought the truck the owner had the IACvalve disconected on the test drive i reconnected it and it shut off imiediatly. i though that was the problem but i just bought a new one and minimal change i hear the fuel pump whine then click on everytime i turn the key checked PCV it looks good changed the TPS im just trying all these small things that i have read on hear but no succes. Also no codes being thrown the CEL light works cuz i see it light up when key is in acc position. tried the MAS test disconected it while running but it just shuts off and then i get the CEL plug it back up and CEL goes away spayed half bottle of throttlebody cleander through intake minimal change. im thinking fuel pump relay dont really want to take it in the shop also the owner said he just changeed the fuel filter. So what could it be without causing CEL to come on? Help please

Try tightening the upper intake.

These truck tend to suffer from bad gaskets in the intake and need to be replaced after some time.
