there is oil leaking out around my pcv valve and i don't know why. i took it out and the oring looks good and nothing appears to be damaged. anyone else had this problem? will getting a new one from ford fix it?

 

nope sure havent.. does the pcv make noice when you shake it if so then your fine if not get ya a new one. the auto part stores sell them

 

you can't get this pcv valve at an auto parts store. its a special one that twist and locks in. the valve itself is not bad. as i stated it is leaking around the oring. i took it out and checked, cleaned it and reinstalled it.this valve doesnt just push into a grommet like they usually do. i just wondered if anyone w/ the 4.0 had this problem.
