Foil from oil bottle fell in the engine...

About a quarter sized piece from the mobil 1 bottle fell right in and slipped out of sight. Now I am freaking out...this isn't how my day was supposed to go. Anyone have good step by step instructions for removing the valve cover on the fill side of the motor?

Wow....can't imagine a better place for a screen than at the bottom of the opening of the oil fill.

Before you pull the valve cover off try this. Take a vacuum like a shop vac and duct tape a smaller hose to the end of the big hose, one that will fit into the oil fill spout. Be sure to clean the vacuum out of the foil goes into the tube. The foil probably didnt go far so fish around with the vacuum tube until it picks it up. If it doesnt works at least you tried, then move on to removing the valve cover. BTW, if Im not mistaken the oil fill spout is removable, if it comes off it might be easier to get down into the hole.

Wow bummer, that's why I always remove the foil completely before I pour.
