I haven't tried those so I couldn't give you an opinoin on those.. But for the money, the tuner and tunes that Bama puts on make our trucks come ALIVE... No more rev. limiter, no more speed limiter, shifting is 10x smoother and the H.P and TQ. are amazing...

^ yep.. You just give him all your truck's spec's. and he makes a tune for it.. The tuner that I have I can adjust multiple things.. Will have to check if you can change tire size also... Send Doug at Bama an E-mail and he'll be able to help you out with logistics and everything.. He's the man with rangers...

Yep....the single best mod you can do is bring all your mods together and make them all work together in harmony, that's what a tuner does. Ties your intake and exhaust and other mods all together.

Two good places to pick it up from are Fred @ Rogue Performance or Doug @ Bamachips.

I've been through all the popular ranger tuners and have wound up just tuning on my own. If you want a plug and play hand held tuner. I have two words for you.

Lasoto racing

Call Don and tell him what you want the tune to do and he'll advise you on the best route. You may have never heard of him. But he's the one that teaches the "tuners" how to do what they do. So whos gonna be a better tuner? The teacher or one of the students?
Give Don a call... It'll be right.

Now.. how did he learn? He was a student too I'm sure.. intuition on tuning comes from the person, not the tuner.. every batch of students has a few excellent ones, and a few bad ones.
