Exhaust systems that sound the best with the 4.0

Has anyone have an exhaust system that has worked really well on the 4.0? I have been looking at putting duels on the back of my FX4 and I know a lot of the systems have you cut part of the tow package (just the parts that stick out of the rear end). I have been looking at the flowmaster 40 series as well as some magnaflow ones. Thank You

Mbrp turndown. No question. I've heard em all, mbrp sounds the best by far. Aside from no muffler at all lol.

mbrp turn down = drone central

I had a turn down (for what) on my truck but with a flowmaster 50 series and there was too much drone in the cab.

Get something that exits the out of the back of the truck either straight or at a 45* angle.
The 50 series sounded good on both of my trucks but next time around, I'll be trying the flowmaster 10 series and deleting the rearmost catalytic converter (again).

I have the Flowmaster Original 40 exits at the rear like a stock exhaust to the side.. I hate the drone I get from it. It's one of their loudest ones. Depends how loud you want it.. I thought I wanted to be able to hear it.. now I can't stand hearing it. Next time I'll go with a Magnaflow or something.

Spintech. Not as much hype as the bigger names, but they make great stuff. They're really popular with the Mustang crowd. I have a 6000 series, which is their second loudest one and probably the most popular. If you're running a stock-style setup, you might also look into the 3000 or 5000 series since they're a little quieter. Just all depends on how much sound you want. There are a couple of videos out there of the 6000 series on stock Rangers.
