On 31" with 3.73's and a shot ring gear I made it into the low 15's.

I have a mild cam, edelbrock intake, edelbrock 4 barrel, and 2 1/4 pipes manifold back, with no cats. Gotta love no state inspection. :-D

But that was with no launch.

I'd hate to see what I'd run now, on 33" with 3.45's.

The only reason I'm running 3.45 is because I needed to get the blown turd out so I could drive it, all I found cheap was a 3.45 7.5"

7.5" Are horrible, don't use one if you're thinking about swapping a ranger, at least an 8.8"

There's a few guys around here with 302 Rangers, theres a 2nd gen single cab that runs low 12's all motor.

Right on, good start then in the drivetrain department.

Do the 5.0, don't look back.

Well, you won't want to look back.

That sucks dude. I can't imagine running 33s on 3.73s none the less 3.45s.

way to think ahead. i know a few who has put in 5.0s and kept there 7.5s for at least awhile. They don't think about it when they are putting the swap together. Oh I got the engine, tranny, t-case, driveshafts, done. It's like no dude.

Its not too bad. I'm running 3.73s on 33's with a 3.0. Around town you really cant tell too much of a difference, but on the highway she starts boggin down at around 70 mph.

Well, I don't have a problem getting over 90, but it's not ideal at all.

Of course I never drive this tall, squirelly beast that fast.

Only once, and that was on 3.73's

Now I keep it around 75-80 on the highway.

And yeah, I'll be so glad to get my 3.73's back.

I'll be going with 4.10's when I SAS and ditch the D28.

Just a little fiberglass work and you'll be set.

I do it for all my buddies in their slide cars. It isn't too hard to fix stuff like that.

A plus is the truck is white, white is alot easier to work with.

Check out LMC Truck, they might have the front bumper.

the person that had the truck before me cut out the power windows out and they cut to much so i had to find 2 doors. i found 2 white ones but they have stickers on it. i tried to remove the stickers but i cut into the door so im going to have to find some one to repaint the doors so maybe i will get a deal on fixing the front cover.

i changed the axle studs out to a long studs and found out it had 373 and not 411 gears. it ran a 14.70@89 mph. i looked at the plugs and they looked like it was running lean. so i went up on the jets a few sizes and going to try it again soon.

while you are there, you might as well get a cam for it.

took my valve covers and got them coated. i did a roll contral so im tring to get all that done. i been having problems with my rocker arm studs and nuts. i got some more and got them on. i think im going to take the breather and get it coated the same as the valve covers. i would like to see some better times maybe a low 12s but i be happy with a low 13.
