99 Ranger 2WD to 5.0 explorer engine Questions

First and foremost(and I did use the search function first, I don't have time to read through 75 threads only to find out it's somebody with an 86) I need the hookup on the motor mounts. I read through several swap threads and one guy said "some guy on rps", now I searched "some guy on rps" and yep, nothing, lol, j/k. If you have a link to the guy making these plates, or can give me specific information, i would greatly appreciate it. I've heard mention of a Brian B making them, but I dunno? My 2.5 is ticking louder than father time, and it's ready to be replaced. I am going to use a 99 explorer V8 complete with accessory brackets and such. But first things first, help with the motor mounts please! Thanks in advance!

Hello all. I have also been searching for info on this! I am almost happy that I am not the only person who is coming up empty! Has anyone here done or know of a 5.0 swap into an SLA 2wd Ranger? I am interested in building one of these. Hopefully an AOD or C4 behind the 5.0.

Thanks!

I purchased a v8 mercury mountaineer that a teenage girl laid over on its side. I am probably going to cut the mounts off the chassis once I get it stripped down. I will look into the parts you described. I am not sure yet how , or if the v8 frame mounts will match up to the Ranger chassis as a simple "align and weld" kind of deal. I already have quite a few OHC 4.0 components I am using to build a sandrail with. I havent tried to see what those mounts look like compared to the v8 mounts. At least I have some options to explore.

The explorer mounts work in non coil spring rangers. Coil spring rangers use the method I described with the 4.0 mount and motor plates by strada
