It's been a while since i've posted my progress but the reason is that it's been raining a lot and also where the truck sits now there was a mitsu mirage from a friend of mine that he needed space to do a 4g63t engine swap that didn't come good so we had to take the engine out to send it to a machine shop blah blah blah

here are some pics from this weekend
Chasis is sandbalsted and painted(first coat and I had to do this now to prevent rust)

Also the pics below shows the weld that i had to make cuz for some reason my engine sat way off and also it help me clear the headers. Also the parts that you see in primer is bcuz it's either going to get replaced or modified!!!

looks great man, is this a spare frame? or is the body pulled off your truck? either way.

also i would assume based on what you said that isnt the correct engine? seems as if you have a built one right?

either way good progress so far.

first i want to see how everything fits on the chasis then i'll might be adding bracing but shaft loop will be installed no matter what

nah, this isn't a spare frame(i wish it was lol) but yeah the body it's pulled off.
and yeah this isn't the engine that is going in the truck, its a 347 stroker(i'll clear this up tomorrow it seems that i've cause some confusion on other site as well)

Thanks!!!

with 15g's in the engine and drive train, why are you using a 93 body? I can't say I have ever seen a 93 in very good condition. If yours is super clean I understand, but if you could spare a couple more G's you could get a much fresher 98+ Not only would cosmetics be better, but stuff like weather stripping and such wouldn't have as much beating on them.

^^well actually my truck for being a 93 is pretty much in a very good condition, the interior has no cracks (on the dashboard or door panels) and i've owned this truck since 98'. Also on this trucks(89-97 i believe) is the easiest one to do this kind of swap.

BTW check out this 93 5.0L (this was the one that started all for me)

^^^DOES THAT LOOKS CLEAN ENOUGH FOR YA OR WHAT!!!!! LOL
