Preferred Place To Take Ranger For V8 Swap

Hi everyone. I have a 2008 Regular Cab Ranger and was wondering if anyone could reccomend a shop/mechanic/dealership,etc..on the East Coast that is known to do V8 Conversions on Rangers. I know there is alot involved and would prefer to have someone that is real familar with it do it. I live in Greenville,SC but would be willing to take it anywhere on the East Coast if the price was right. Thanks for any input, suggestions, and help. :) Max

I don't know if you will find that info here. Most everyone on here with a V8 has done it themselves because it is a lot more cost effective.

Yeah I know it would be cheaper but I'm not that mechanic inclined Lol. Not even sure I'll keep the truck but always thought the big motor would definitly make it alot more interesting and fun to drive. I think I recall way back a speed shop in Florida doing one and documenting it but not sure.

A member had help at a shop but I don't think the shop did the whole swap.

I agree, I doubt there are many shops out there that are overly experienced in it. Might be some members close that would help you out though!

Thanks for the input. To bad someone doesn't do it, or at least promote it as they probably would get some steady buisness. If the price wasn't to bad anyway. Probably going to be more trouble and cost than its worth but thought I'd take a shot :) Thanks All
