Dimmer and Amplifier ground

Guys,

I'm about to install a double din Eclipse AVN 2210 head unit w/removable Tomtom nav unit and had a couple of questions I hope you can help me with. First the Ford harness I purchased has 2 wires that don't match the AVNs. The first is labeled black amp ground and the other is an orange w/black dimmer ground. Can these just be attached to the regular black ground and be done with it? Or just leave them capped? My other question is about the speed pulse wire connection. Does this have to be connected to operate? Is the GEM grey/black wire the right one to connect it to? Easy to get to? any last but not least has any one run their GPS antenna inside the cab? I'm running my XM antenna and I sometimes get an "antenna" message on the module screen or I just loose signal (anyone else running their XM antenna inside as well? )

Thanks

JR

just leave those wires unconnected and if you have an issue connect them. the speed sensor wire hook it up as that will tell the gps how fast you are going so it can be accurate, and the antenna try it on the inside and if that doesnt work well put it on the roof.
