Icon9 Sub encloser help!

I have no idea what to do. I got a 97 and have a alpine type r 10' that i want to get in my truck. Problem is its a regular cab so im limited on space.

I really want to keep the sub because its brand new and will hit hard. But it may be way too deep to fit behind the seats. Any ideas?

Yah either that or they make special boxes for regular cabs just stick it behind your passenger seat they don't need the leg room screw em!

what i was also thinking is to make a custom box and put it like right bellow the glove box. So the passenger mud have to keep their feet really close to the seat. What do you guys think?

i was thinking that but dont you have to cut a hole into the bed of the truck? plus i do have a cap over the bed but theres no lock so if someone saw my sub back the they could just open the back up and take it really easy

I think the passengers would ruin your sub... maybe point the sub forward? i dunno, I think that behind the seat is your best bet.

I did have this in my truck minus the amp, but let me tell you this 10 slams dude i had it paired with a sony xplod 1000watt amp and it pounded so hard. Eventually it melted though cause the guy that put the amp in bridged it to the speaker and the speaker was rated at 1200watts and those 2000watts cooked it quick. Now i have a pioneer 760 2 channel amp with a mtx 10 it does alright but that mtx 10 is only rated for 350 watts so it cuts out when you jam it to hard. O btw this enclose fit PERFECTLY behind the passenger seat.

alpine type rs are 6.8 in in mounting depth. and you want more space then that so it has room. type rs are a big sub. even a center console box may not fit it with the right airspace.
