kicker amps are awesome. I dislike kicker's speakers though.

I have the infinity setup in both of my cars... Infinity kappas in the truck, and infinity kappa door speakers and infinity refrence subwoofer in teh mr2.

yeah, they def. hit hard, but the Type-x hits alot harder.. The Type R has a MAx RMS pwer of 500 wats. the TYPe X RMS Starts at 500 wats.

Another sub i am looking at is the Dub 6 from JL audio. I know my friend had one in his eagle talon. I was sittin in his apartment when he came home, and i thought a train was going by, the whole building shook. It was just one 12" dub 6

Yeah, which I may be wrong, but you need less Cubic Feet with a Sealed box, than a ported box, correct? Making it a better fit for our trucks

infinity subs are very nice, i have a kappa perfect 12.1. tight, clean bass is all i can say. back in the day (early 2000s) these subs were known for thier long travel and superior low end bass. now u can get better subs from elemental designs, digital design, resonant engineering, etc...

still a great choice imo.

better imo. infinity and alpine still arnt bad buys, and you can get them in stores. RE audio you have to find a dealer (closest one to me is an hour away and i live in washington dc area). Elemental designs you can order them online directly from them.

One thing I love about infinity is there warranty 3 years. Had a tweeter fall off one of my door speakers they replaced it no questions they even replaced the rear just so they matched.
