My 1st mod towards starting my AUdio/Video
#26
Great, a 21 year old telling me to grow up. I don't mind criticism on my mods. I just can't accept the fact that its my $$ to spend as I will no matter how much I spend. Just say the mod sucks, I can handle that but unless your flippin the bill don't tell me how to spend or how much to spend on it. I posted links to the site so you can see the prices & I'm sure others have spent as much or they wouldn't be in business.
The only reason I posted the cost @ all is because someone asked. I surely won't do that again.
Thank You
Rick

Not trying to fuel the fire, but I paid $140 for my yellow top @ sears two years ago(not on sale).
The mod looks nice though, cleans up that corner of the engine compartment quite a bit. Don't take the critism to heart man. These guys are just giving opinions, take them as you please.
If you like it, that's all that matters =]

Thanks
Mine was $149 plus a stupid battery disposal fee required by the state even though my old battery is in my shed as we speak & tax for a grand total of $167. I'm not sure about difference in cost on sizes but I payed less for my yellow top in my car last year but its probably smaller.

1 site shows 8 different ones, a couple smaller than the one I bought today. Looks like the one I have in the car is a D75/25 & its $151.95 & the one for the truck i bought today is a D34/78-950 & on this particular site its $167.95. The one for the truck is a bit larger but not by a lot & the cranking amps is a touch more as well.

Sweet, gotta love the YellowTop, I love mine!
The terminals are a little expesive though as mentioned, they look sweet and i'm sure they work great. Top shelf audio parts are expensive! terminals aren't a huge deal to spend that much on, but as you said you like to have a nice install and you're experienced. Good job!

Through the means of a fellow friend/auto zone employee, i think i paid 80 bucks for mine. All 80 dollars went into my buddy's pocket...whoops. I have the $4.80 terminals from parts express and i love them. I understand they might start to rust and corrode and what not, but i'm willing to pay another 5 bucks for another. But your terminals are really nice and clean looking!
