Quick Dust Cap Question

So, a while ago the dust cap on my JBL GTO804 popped off... don't know how, I never really crank it. Can I just JB Weld or super glue this back on as a temp fix? I know if any debris got in there it might damage the sub.

Until I figure out what I want to replace it with?

as a temp, you can just super glue it. otherwise just get some hobby glue and that should hold, make sure you clean off any glue that was on there before.
