i have a 98 4 banger.. when i have my system on loud the engine tends to choke or something i have to let the gas go and pump it a bit to get it going again... is this couse of my system or is it something else........

 

you prob need a larger alternator

 

state some info for audio or something, im cant do anythign without info

 

your system is pulling to many amps from the alternator causing the engine electronics to lose power. to fix this you are going to invest in a larger alternator. also wat are you running it will help alot. The amplifier has a guaranteed amount from the battery and alternator but the trucks electronics will fail if not enough power is there,

 

i have a memphic car audio 500w class d amp.... and 2 12 inch hollywood excursion subs... people dont think its a hole lot but if you look this up youll see this is a competition amp... and the subs are one of the llaudest in usca history.....
