Complete Audio System Replacement

Can anyone give me any thoughts as to my plans?:
Replace head unit with a motorized touchscreen with onboard GPS, and MP3/CD/HDD capabilities
Replace door speakers with better ones and better wiring
Remove jump seats and install two 12" subwoofers in custom cabinets
I am not looking for insane bass, but I am looking to get a little kick when I throw on some country music. Any ideas on head units, amplifiers, wiring, or speakers?

Thanks all

My system

Kenwood Excelon KDC-794
Apline SPS 517's all around
JL Audio 400W 4 channel amplifier
Eclipse 10" sub
Rockford 200W amp

I've had the sub and the Rockford amp for over 7 years and it sounds great and hits hard.

I've been running the headunit and speakers for over a year now and the sound quality is amazing. I was running Alpine S series for 6 years prioir, I thought I blew them, but it turned out to be the amplifier, not the speakers. Then I got the JL amp
