I thought that you could just wax it and it would take them out?

Oh on edit... I didnt see that it was for your windows. There is some polish that I have that will take them out, but your arm will fall off when you are done. Ill try to get the name of the stuff.

R we talk’n window spots or paint spots ?

Window spots should come out with a good quality glass cleaner BUT if there is a high level of acid rain then there is a no go on that, they may never come out.

If it is paint, then using at least a micro material cloth and wipe the truck down directly after washing BUT again if there is acid rain then they might never come out.

You might try a Polishing Compound after the wash. make sure the vehicle surface is cool, like in the shade before doing the compound. Make sure it is a Polishing Compound and not a Rubbing Compound, big diff.
Then apply Polish and buff with a electric Polishing machine.

Just talking, try them out and see...

Mostly on my windows, when on the body i usually give it a good wash them wipe it down with that spray wax stuff. Whenever i used the glass cleaners it always takes them about half off lol it seems like they never come off the windows.

I used to have the spots you are talking about, went wheeling on old farmland and i think it was some kind of leftover pesticides/fertilizer or something, It would not come off no matter what i tried, they only thing that work was sending her to the scrap pile (I didnt want to let her go)

I use vinegar to remove hard water spots from glass. Works best to use newspaper with the vinegar (the ink acts as a mild abrasive). If that doesn't work, use a machine and a heavy polish or compound to remove the water spots. I use M105 on either an orange or yellow 6.5" LC CCS pad.

I have heard of the "newspaper with the vinegar” thing, might be worth a try but have never done it myself.

Does anyone make a buffing compound for Glass, that might do it too.

Let us know what you do and how it work out, interesting problem.

You can also try Mothers Chrome Polish. It does a great job cleaning stubborn crap off glass.

how is it stupid! if youve never tired it.. then you dont know. buy some 0000 FINE steel wool i use it on mine ALL the time and my glass is fine. its no differant then using a blade to get a sitcker off of a window. it doenst hurt a thing and paired with good window cleaner or vinegar or soemthing of that nature works greeeeeaaaaattttttttt!!

but hey its your windows, you dont have to take my advice, i just know it works for me and i learned about the techinique up here.

Nah, I was serious. I figured steel woll would leave fine scratches all over the window haha. But I've never had water spots nor enough sunlight to create them which may explain MY noobyness.

Use this stuff, it works.
CRL "Sparkle" Cleaner and Stain Remover. Google search "sparkle sp101" and you'll find it.

Make sure it isn't the regular glass cleaner, but the stain remover. A window tint shop suggested using it on my old ranger that had horrible water spots. I couldn't get rid of them with anything else that I tried. This stuff took a lot of scrubbing but it worked.
