Cleaning clear corners?

Cleaning clear corners?
I'm cleaning my truck up for the week or so of nice weather coming up and noticed that my nice clean clear turn signals have mud and salt spray inside of them. I don't reall want to stick them in the oven and tear them apart but I'm not sure how to go about cleaning the insides of them. I'm not sure if I shove a towel down in there with some soapy water or invisible glass would make it look worse or not. If you have any ideas, let me know. Thanks.
BTW, this is for 98-00 front signals if that makes a difference.

Never thought of distilled water. I'll have to do that tomorrow, they look pretty bad.
Oh, and there are 2 holes that I guess are there for venalation but I was thinking about siliconing them so the mud don't get in it again. My headlights dont have vent holes and they get way hotter than my turn signals! Lol
