My Ranger paint correction detail

new pictures at the bottom of the page :D

its been a while since i took a buffer to my truck.

took around 12 hours or so total. in my eyes i 'half assed' it, only because its my truck.

i only have one before shot of the paint because its hard to get pictures of the swirls with a iphone camera, trust me it was BAD.

i started off with a hand wash
clay bar
taped off all the trim
polish and wax remove wipedown
surburf microfinger pads with megs 105 compound
white pad with megs 205 polish
polish and wax remove wipedown
blackfire sealant
CG 50/50 paste wax
trim and interior sprayed with maxima Sc1
never touched tires and wheel wells

water spots from a few days ago

tar

all gone thanks to the tarminator!

taped and ready to go

after towards the bottom of this picture, those arent scratches, thats the chair i set my light on. it has chrome legs so it reflected on the paint.

Really? I hate sc1 with a passion. Used it on my bike, its far to oily. For a quick detailer i use mothers.

Truck looks sharp. I did the exact same thing to my truck last week. Makes them look better then new!
