Hey there im having a problem figuring out whats wrong with my 2003 ford ranger 4x4 when i am driving in 4wd there is a clunking every couple of seconds and sometimes it will come right out of 4 wheel ( my light still says im in 4wd) Mostly under load, i also notice there is fluid leaking from the front differential.

if it pops out of 4x4 its probably the transfer case. lock collar and or fork might be worn
