Icon4 need help quick!!

ok thiers no bolts on my driveshaft up front by the tranny and i didnt want to beat on anything or do anything until i can get a reasonable answer on how to get the driveshaft disconnected from the tranny ive removed the c-clips and tried tapping on the caps and they dont budge ive smothered them in pb blaster and still nothing HELP!!

It should just slide out. You have to take the bolts off at the diff side first.

Dont tap on the u-joint caps - they need to be pressed out with the yokes properly supported. If you just want to pull the driveshaft out of a 2WD transmission, then unbolt the flange at the rear diff, drop it down and the splined slip yoke will pull right out of the transmission. Depending on the angle of the trans, be prepared to catch some oil. This might be a good time to invest in a shop manual.

ya i slip it out before yall posted and i dont have anything to push the old u joints out with so is their any way that i might be able to get them out without damaging the drive shaft and what automatic tranny fluid do i need to get cuz ya a good bit of it came out and im not risking driving with a low amount of fluid
