So last night my buddies dad called me and said he cant find a tranny for his 01 2wd 4cyl ranger whatsoever. I think its the 2.3 but ive read that it was a mid year thing and there was a 2.5 that year also. So im waiting to hear back from him on what motor. My question to you guys since I looked a lil bit is what tranny should i be looking for? 4R44E or something else? Not to familar with the 4 cylinders.
