is a locker worth it when paired with a manual?

do you have a locker and a manual trans?
i finally have some money that i have set aside to spend of some stuff that i have been wanted for a while... but now that i have the money i cannot decide whether or not i want to go though with a purchase...
anyway i need help weighing out the adv/dis of getting a locker for my specific truck..
i dont offroad anymore because i can easily get stuck with my one wheel peel, i get stuck on dirt trails if i have to turn around, i almost got stuck on a gravel driveway that had a bit of an incline... i dont want to risk being stuck easily...
so a locker would improve my traction greatly but i would have to get some JD traction bars to go with it, or at least i would prefer to, so i dont get too much axle wrap...
but... i dont want to lose alot of mobilty such as parking (pulling in and backing out of small places, give gas while turning) and having a manual trans. makes it that much worse, there is not fluid connection like in an auto that would dampens the load force, its either engaged or not, so if i give it any gas it will lock up, so i dont thinks thats a good idea
so...
adv
-no more stuck, better traction
disadv...
-loss of mobility
-easier to spin out in rain
im looking at the powertrax no slip model... i would just get a LS but i dont want to pay alot for install
i guess i just need some opinions from people with manuals and lockers
thanks anyone that helps

I didnt notice a lack of mobility..so i guess if it's there, it's small. And even with the bfg m/t's i dont spin much at all in the rain. the manual may make that worse for you depending on how you drive it. i think they're worth it, but if you can splurge on a unit like jared mentioned, the ected...you will have the best of both worlds...one of those worlds not being cost

haha i just never post anymore, ive been pretty busy with work and everything... and no i still have my truck, pretty much the same just some more added crap
but i guess i will just have to get it and try and see how i like it
sawred... autos have a much less load impact on teh axle, man if i had an auto i would have gotten teh locker a year ago sometimes i wish i had an auto, i spin my wheels all teh time in the rain, its sucks and its pretty scary, but you said in another post that a locker is so much worth it for the traction capabilities so i guess i will get it
i still would want some imput from someone with teh NO SLIP and a 5-speed
oh and i dont have the moolah for teh ECTED, wish i did
but i guess i will just have to get it and try and see how i like it
