Yes it will. All ranger Dana 35 axles are 27 spline.
Check out the Lock-Right application guide: Application Guide
The application guide doesn't mention it working after 2000, but I called Richmond Gear and their engineer said that they will work. These are pretty much the same as the Aussie Locker that everyone is running.
See the Ranger Differential Guide for user reviews and info.

Somebody has better jump on this thing! It's BRAND NEW!
I'm kicking myself for not having my truck/finances in order to buy this thing myself.
I've never seen one sit at this price for this long, and I watch these like a hawk.

Ok, so you have to be able to read the directions too. I think they come in three different languages to choose from.

The TTB D35 is reverse rotation. IFS is standard.
EDIT: The only time you have to worry about standard vs. reverse rotation is gears.
EDIT AGAIN: I looked up the Part # 2311S2 on the box, it's for a JEEP D35. Part #2310 is for a RANGER D35

Why do people always contradict with me when I post that something will work... and add links to back it up!
Is it because they don't read? I don't know why I even bother sometimes...
(General rant Toreador4x4, not trying to jump all over you.)

I understand, but think of it this way, the aussie in my truck doesn't engage when you spin it backwards (backing up) therefore i dont see how they sell a locker that could work in standard and reverse rotation axles

Ok, I misstated the "TTB & IFS". According to Richmond's application guide the 2311S2 is for the IFS trucks only (because of the narrower carrier size, not the rotation).

If your Aussie Locker doesn't engage in reverse, something is wrong. The "Lunch-Box" type lockers all engage whichever direction the driveshaft is applying torque to the axle. Forwards AND reverse. If you want me to explain it more, start a new thread in the drivetrain section. I'll be happy to try and get you diagrams and everything.

Yeah, I know... figures that I would do that.
But come on people... CHECK THE APPLICATION SHEET!!!

I really doubt this will work in both the TTB and SLA. No one in the industry makes a single unit that will work for both. I don't care what the application sheet says. Their application sheet also says 91-94 explorers had a D28 which is not true.

I'm not saying it won't work for your truck, I don't know if its the right one or not. I'm saying it won't work for TTB and SLA. Its one or the other.

The #2311S2 may work on the Jeep Dana 35, but it also is what is specified for '98+ Rangers.
