Gorilla Winch Any One have experience with?

Since I recieved a front hitch for Christmas I've been looking around at winches. Nothing to expensive as I won't be using it that much and money factor. I just came across a Gorilla Winch. Heres the specs.

GORILLA 12000 LB H.D. Self Recovery Winch 12000LB SF

It comes w/a four way roller fairlead and a 12 ft. corded cable.

So has anyone used one of these or know of someone that has.

The price is under $400 w/free shipping.

WOW 12000 lbs? Is it for your ranger?
I would think you would only need around a 8000lb or 9000lb. And IMO i would only use WARN, Ramsey, but that is just me.

Well its $310 for an 8,000, $325 for a 10,000 and $370 for 12,000. All Free Shipping.

I would love to get a Warn, but money is a factor and I won't be using the winch every weekend. Prob just a couple times a year.

You have to remember when selecting a winch rating is that you are not only pulling the truck but you have to overcome the forces holding the truck. Overkill is better than not enough.

That's crazy cheap. When I worked at Northern Tools a Ramsey like that would start around a grand.

I got my 10k Smittybilt for $350. I've only used it 5 or 6 times so far, has worked great each time.
