Scratches
Once again I'm a new guy here. I just bought my 02' ranger and the guy I bought it off of had a little run-in with a drive-thru. I need a plan of attack without taking the Ranger to a body/paint shop or maybe that's the only answer. Some of the regular off-roaders may think this is nothing but..........
I have just been a member here for a few days and the advice and info has been great. Thanks all. Here's a picture.

Try a scratch removing compound/ wax to see if it can help remove some of them and then carefull fill them in with one of those color match paint tubes you can buy at any auto store. Its not going to look perfect, but its a cheap fix until you have the money to get it professionally done.

Agreed, I could get the paint in that area to look much better than it does now, but from the looks of those scratches you would never be able to fully correct them. You would need some good polishing compounds and a rotary buffer, which will easily burn the paint if you are not an experienced user.
