I've been looking at tails for my 02. Will any other tails fit besides 01-03? I like the smoother look of the newer tails. Thanks

 

Any Ranger taillight from a '93-12 will bolt-on to a '02. '93-99 have stand-alone turn signals while '00-12 have the turn signal built into the running/brake lamp bulb. '06+ tails are direct swap onto '00-05 trucks.


In fact, the newer 2006+ tails is a VERY common swap in the Ranger world... Here's my '01 with '06 tailgate emblems.

Ebay! i used 06 style LEDS from there and have been very happy with them.

 

Get some 06+ and mod them to resemble Harley Davidson f150 tails :)

How did you do the led mod?

 

My truck just has 06+ tails that i threw in the oven, split, painted to match harley davidson F150 tails, and used buggman LEDs.

Buggman is a member on the forum who sells plug in LEDs.
I plan to do the L1224R LED mod in the very near future.
