04 to 06 tails question

I believe that I saw 3 bulbs when I switched over to 06 tails, not sure though because i was in a crazy hurry.

Is modification need to the housing to fit the 3rd bulb. Also what is the 3rd bulb for?

No there's just two bulbs. There hasn't been a 3 bulb brake light set up on Rangers since 99'.

Not a problem. I could be wrong about that year of when they stopped using a 3 bulb setup but that doesn't really apply to you anyways..

I couldve sworn that I saw three bulbs somewhere. I got them off of a buddies truck. He agreed with the swap because he didnt really care. I think he had an 06 or 07 or something.

I would run out to my truck and check, but its kinda dark out there and the boogeyman might get me.

Getting dark so I had to hold flashlight to get some lighting. Sorry for bluriness (phone pics)

It looks like previous owner added bulbs? I dont know. Wires are not in the black plastic stuff, so I think it was added.
