You can try an industrial strenght adhesive and clamps. Its a long shot but again it just depends on how stubborn and strong the plastic is.

Well as long as it dosent seem like it is going to peel up and it doesnt other you that much just dont worry about it.

sounds to me like its a cheap A%% liner, i had a factory under rail liner put in my ranger about 3 yrs ago when i bought my truck and i have had no problems of any sort with it, cost a few extra dollars for factory liner but well worth it
