Rollpan and Tailgate questions....
Hey everybody...I'm looking to redo the butt end of my truck and of course I wanna put a rollpan on it. I was also looking at a tailgate skin to so I could mount my license plate on it. But then it dawned on me that I could use my stock tailgate and cut a socket that would fit the license plate box in it. My question is this. Where would the best place be to get this stuff and do you think it would be better to do the license plate box mod myself or just buy a skin with the box already in it? I appreciate the help....

I'd just go with the rollpan and buy a plate box and get a body shop to weld it into your tailgate. You can find these at stylinconcepts and they arent really that expensive. I dont really like those Lexan windows a guy around here had one on his S-10 and he got rid of it like after 3 months of having it b/c of some issue with it not sealing properly or something along those lines.

lexan windows are junk. they dont seal very wel and they scratch if you look at them wrong. i would get a plate box and put in the gate.
for the roll pan you have several choices - suicide doors, fbi , stylin concepts.....
and you can get a plate box from any of those as well.
are you gonna shave the gate handle? hope so so it would look right.
i would suggestion using a mar-k handle relocator kit(www.mar-k.com)
very good quality and looks good as well. ive had 2 of them and wouldnt use anything else
