I picked up a westin safari bar today threw work for a amazing price, but I'm not sure if its something I want to run on my truck. I think I would be happier with selling it and getting a front hitch instead for off road purpose. but I figured Id see what my fellow members think

I wouldn't do it. Go for a front hitch.

 

I have one on my truck and I think it looks pretty cool, but honestly looking back I should have spent my money on something else.

Front hitch is definitely more useful but the safari bar would look pretty good with that spare and roof rack. Kind of mall crawler though, those safari bars.

Not a fan of the safari bar. the way they mount makes them look hideous!
