Its your rear bumper not your tailgate. Loosen up the brackets and move it around then retighten them.

weird! i've never seen that on a ranger before. all ive seen fit perfectly centered.

idk.....your passenger side light doesnt fit too well, the lower rear passenger bedside seems to be pulled in too much. and the gate isn't centered at all...that driver side gap is sooooo tight. i'd say put a washer in the driver side 'bucket' on the tailgate, but then again...that'll cause the passenger side to possibly touch gate to bedside. idk.

trent....bumper? what?

Bumper? How does that effect the alinement on the gate?

I asked a local body shop they said under the bed rail caps there should be torq bolts and push in the passenger bedside

If you flexed like this then that may have done it. Mine stayed like what you see in the pic and caused it not to latch on the drivers side. To fix it I had to adjust the latches on both sides, It didnt make it perfect but it at least latched on both sides.

Never thought of that but im kinda thinking that its the latches or the adjustment screws in the bed rail. In the spring i'll fix it or try to.

Mine is the same way. I need to check the bushings, but they seem tight. I'll get around to it at some point lol
