Has anyone experimented with replacing a reg. cab fuel cell with one from an ext. cab ? Is this even possible ?

hmm, i thought it was the opposite. My brother's 92 ext cab appears to have a smaller tank than mine. Looking at the 09 models, the reg cab with 7ft bed have 20 gallon tanks while the ext cabs have 19.5 gallons.
