dang 50% up front....that sucks...in NC i think we're allowed something like 35%...not quite sure....but id go with 15% all the way aound if i were you....

 

if you dont mind me asking... how much they charging you? I went to a local shop here a couple weeks ago and they want $250 to tint mine.

 

Just dropped it off, I'm worried!
They want 140 for the tint, and 20 to strip the old tint off. Its a good price, and I've heard they do awesome work, some of my friends have had their windows done there.

And they use llumar brand tint

 

I got it back!

Its not QUITE as dark as I was hoping for... I guess I will see what it looks like in the dark. Besides, once I get my headache rack on, it might look alot better since that will cut down on almost all the light that comes in the rear window

Looks good! We can legally go 20% on the front 2 and I think as dark as we want on the rears here in texas.

I have 5% on the back 3 windows and it SUCKS backing up at night. In town its sucks but its not that bad but, I live in the country so when im not in town I cant see jack. I added reverse lights and now I can kinda sorta see a little bit.

 

Yep that was sort of my concern.. For example, on the weekends when we go fishing, unless we do it the night before, I usually hook the boat up at like 4am. It would be impossible to do that.

I live in the country too. I did notice it being a little harder to see, but soo far I like it. I want to add reverse lights too, but I want to make it a clean, almost.. hidden, install.
