Well here are the accomplishments of Erv and I today. After a can of Self Etching Primer, Two cans of Duplicolor Dark Shadow Grey and Two and a half cans of clear here is the result. Hopefully pics of it all mounted will come tommorrow. I am very impressed with how it came out.

Primer



Solenoid cover done. This is the only peice that I may repaint, it was the test peice, doesnt look bad but could stand to be redone.


Roller Drum coated in leftover POR15 that Evan had.


Everything sprayed with paint.





All components cleared. If I remember there is about 6+ coats of paint and 6+ coats of clear on everything but the motor. The motor got 10 coats or more of clear and numerous coats of paint. The cooling fins were a pain to cover. fairlead not pictured.



And Dinner haha.

pix came out good.
that white castle is killin me about now tho.
expecialy with that mexican food for lunch.

very nice looks brand spankin new, and you had to throw the white castle pic in there man do i love them things i wish they had them further south i would eat there everyday

You dont have Krystals in your area??? I personally like those better.

nope, there are some up i northern florida and one in fort lauderdale but none close to me.

Oh ok, the one I always went to was on ridgewood in holly hill/Daytona if that does not ring a bell.

Thats a nice hitch mount for the winch. You gonna have it mounted this weekend?

The winch is back together and on the winch mount. Just need to tighten up the bolts and wire it up.

Ok its all done, looks great. I will get better pics when its light outside. Have to wire it up for the front and rear, also install the front hitch.

Id say its atleast 100 lbs. Its not horrible to move around but its not light by any means.
