I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping me install a body lift on my ranger this weekend. I dont really have much to give in the way of ranger parts but maybe provide some lunch/dinner type deal.

My buddy can only help out saturday evening and Im looking to get it done before the weather gets too crappy.

I live in Green, OH a little south of Akron..so if there is anyone in the area that is interested I could surely use the help/experience of someone who has done this before!!

haha well you guys are all welcome to come. I didnt know how much of a response I was going to get but hey the more the merrier. There is plenty of parking being as we will be meeting at my girlfriends family farm (her dad milks cows for a living Ive done it a few times myself admittedly) maybe to make this easier on me if you are interested shoot me a PM and ill let you know the exact location just to keep perverts/weirdos away. I have never done a BL before let alone work on my truck without my uncle. except for replace brakes and shocks and a mullfler/tailpipe. If we were able to get this BL done saturday that would be great. There are always hang ups but hopefully things will go smooth enough to put the finishing touches on sunday main thing would to try and get it lifted while everyone is there.

sooo... again if youre really interested in helping out on saturday I plan on being at the farm by 10am and going until probably 8-9pm see what we can get accomplished, send me a PM

 

so true they need to shoot for the 3.5 hour body lift record

 

well considering Im a noob at the whole BL deal...3.5 seems like a record that wont be beat this time. Im hoping to get it done in 2 days ha

 

HMM. As long as the bottom of the truck doesn't look like Sully's when we did it. We may be able to come close lol.

Go out Saturday. If I go it will be around 2 or so, and I can only stay till 5.

 

Make sure you read over the instructions and any info on here prior to install so you have an understanding of how to put it on when the time comes. It helps alot!

 

Ive read it three times aswell as the extra tips from redneckstone....seems tedious.

 

if you have people that have done it before its really not you get into a grove and just nock it out. Justin and I dont even speak half the time anymore and are nocking it out like mad. its actually soothing now to do body lifts lol

 

Yeh it seems a lot harder than it really is.

 

Id like to have an idea of who can come and what time/day as of right now I have not sent anyone the address because no one has said they were for sure coming...PM me or post up here and ill send you the address.

If there are more than needed to work on the body lift there is plenty that can be done. I need a little attention given to thebottoms of the doors as far as grinding off rust and eliminating it...or my grille needs painted haha..
