I like that ford is starting to listen to its owners and deliver what they want. Plus they advertise it correctly, showing that many corporate consumers need the additional power. AND finally, they're increasing the mileage by 20% which is awesome.
Not really that big of a pain...put the fluid in, the truck does all the work. Add more fluid at 2500-3000 miles and the truck keeps doing it's job and doesn't mind. I'd take the urea anyday over the lets' kill our 6.4l with a bunch of fuel regen, that is if I were to keep it stock

Ya KEM is suppose to be hitting the track next week to get some numbers. People just don't realize what goes into tuning, these beasts. Its not as easy as pressing enter on your tuner lol.
It should be interesting though, to see how the new diesels handle the aftermarket tuning for huge gains.
There kind of right. This is from a VW Audi page
"Adblue fluid info, storage, and safely information
Adblue is a brand name for diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and is a solution of about 67.5% water and 32.5% urea. I've heard the pee jokes already - you can't "stick it in the filler" to top off the Adblue! Adblue fluid is dissolved high purity urea crystals synthesized from ammonia and CO2 in water."
Something else about it.

"or those thinking of ways to defeat the DEF fluid-level system, don’t. Sensors can determine the composition of the DEF added to the truck, so substitutes like pure water or (ahem) pee can’t be used. The truck will know. It will also detect if you try to mix agricultural-grade urea and demineralized water to brew a homemade batch of DEF."
