Newbie from the Great White North

Hi all! My names Barry form Canada. Just ordered a 2010 Ranger 4X4 Sport, V6 auto etc...
Heard good things about it from my Ford service manager bud so I put my money down. should be here in about a month or so.......

I need a little tech help. my friends ranger with a 2.5 4cy broke the timing belt. having problems getting it back in time. our chilton book does not show timeing marks or give a clear procedure. question? could there be damaged valves etc, - is this and interference engine or not?
