Hi Everyone,
Just joined the club because i recently purchased a 2003 Ranger Thunderbolt edition and everywhere I looked on the net, I came back to Ranger Forum so it was easy to see that this is the place to talk Rangers.
Purchased in December, it has been too cold and snowy to really get to know my truck yet (other than I needed new snow tires and some weight in the back to make her go in the snow) and I can hardly wait for spring.
This is the first Ford truck that I have purchased since my 79 F150 Explorer (I've still got it) and I'm just thrilled with the way the Ranger drives and handles.
Hope to share and obtain info about my truck over the next while and if anyone has any stats or info particularly about the Thunderbolt edition, I would be happy to hear from you.
Thanks to whoever is running this forum as I have already learned a great deal.

Cheers

Thunderbolt Bob

Welcome to another Ontarian! Not too many Thunderbolts around... I remember when they came out. I think I have some of the sales literature around somewhere packed away in my storage unit with my other brochures!

Thunderbolt Ranger eh? Let's see some pics of it... I'm kind of interested to see it. And welcome to R-F! :)

Just posted some pics.
Looked too much like a Hot Wheels toy so the first thing I did was remove the lightning bolt off the side. Maybe a mistake from a collectors view but makes the truck look better to me.

Hi Katso,
Quite possible, although it has been in the Milton area for about 5 years when I purchased it was the first time I had seen it. Not too hard too miss.

I'll keep it in mind for next time I come across them!

And do you know where Goderich is? I'm only about 15 minutes from there, just off the lake.
