Major axle issue?

So i took my drums off on my 93' and noticed there was about an inch of play on the axle shaft. One side has more play than the other, but just wondering if anything is completely ****ed
anyone have this problem before? It could be the C-clips?

Pics might help. Didn't someone warn you about trading trucks? Sucks that you're having an issue with it.

AN INCH!!?!?!?? WOW....

There shouldn't be more than 1/4" or so of play. And even then, that's pretty excessive. It's a c-clip axle trait to have a little bit of play. Best bet is to pull the cover and inspect. Even better, pull those shafts.

Didn't we all basically tell you to walk away from this trade?????? May this be a preview of what's to come with that truck...

Ok so turns out its ok, its normal to have that much play in order to change the c-clips.. but no guys the reason I took the trade was I get employee discount at lordco auto parts because I worked there for a long time. And my dad and I have been doing all the work on it, also my best buddies dad owns a local shop so we have access to all the commercial tools and **** which helps a ton. Wheel alignment, full tune up, oil change, diff oil change, rad flush, exhaust is all being done tomorrow morning!
I will update WITH PICS TOMORROW!!
cheers
