Give me help.

So a while ago i posted about my ohc install and crap. that all works fine. but then apon reinstalling my radio bezel i've had some battery problems.

i just couldn't keep the charge if i didn't drive it like everyday. 1 day sitting in the driveway = dead battery.

i've pulled the fuses out of all the stuff i don't need in the dash, radio/cig/12v

and still problems.

i charged it up a bit today and pulled out the battery and put it in the garage. it was @ 11.63 Volts at 3:15 ( wasn't fully charged up)

i came home at 4:05 and it was at 10.85 Volts.

i have an optima redtop that was purchased in September of this year, so hardly a month old.

what do you suggest i do?

Does the OHC turn off when you turn off the ignition? Sounds to me like something was hooked up to constant power, which means it is not turning off.

You'll need to put the battery on a charger and fully charged it. Then have it load tested before making any call on its condition. The static readings your getting on a partially charged battery can not be used to determine its overall condition
