Okay so i've seen a few questions pop up here and there about the ORW coil-over conversion on a non-lifted ranger. I have a few questions myself and if anyone else has any questions about it feel free to ask them here.

So right now i have my torsion bars cranked pretty far. my truck is level and i have 285/75s and i dont rub at all. If i get the coil-over conversion and do not crank the coil-overs at all will my truck be the same height in the front as it is now or will it be lower? will i have to crank the coil-overs to keep my truck level?

Next question is can i get the coil-over conversion now and then put the 4" superlift under it later? I think i read that the coil-overs you get for a stock height truck are a little shorter than the ones you get if you have the 4" so am i right that if i wanted to get the 4" SL i would have to get longer shocks and coils?

Last question is are there FOX shocks that will fit on the rear of a stock height ranger?

as far as shocks for the rear, yes, offroad wherehouse lists them on their site

Yeah if you get the coilover conversion and then add the superlift at a later date then you'll need new, longer coilovers.

I just did the coilover conversion on my stock height 4x4 and with only 3/4 of an inch of preload on the springs I'm sitting level if not a little higher in the front. The springs will settle a lite bit after you first get them on but then just add a little more preload. I've still got just about all of the threads on the shock left to crank but don't need to. The ride is uncomparable to torsion bars. Soo much better

Does ORW sell the superlift coilover conversion as a package deal? I didn't see it on their website, but I may not have looked in the right place.

 

i'm not sure about a package deal but i'm pretty sure the coil-over conversion kit has not made it on there site yet. talk to nick about it if your interested in it

yep i might be about to put this on my 07 because i'm tired of the crappy ride i get from these cranked torsion bars... plus FOX racing coil-overs are just badass! i just want to make sure i dont wanna get the 4" Superlift before i get the coil-overs because then i'd be in the whole like $500 if i decide to get the SL...

 

So its better to add the coilover to the superlift kit and not vice versa

 

you cant add the superlift on top of the coil-over conversion unless you buy new longer coil-overs.

the coil-overs that fit on a stock suspension ranger are shorter than the coil-overs that fit on a Superlifted truck. so if you got the coil-over conversion stock and then got the superlift you would have to buy new longer coil-overs.

new question.. do you think i could get the coil-over conversion and belltech 6400 shackles in the back and clear 33x12.5s with no rub and have a level truck?
